Metroid

This is my first fan art. I love video games, don't get me wrong, but I'm the type who usually stays clear from doing fan art, or a version of someone else's peice.

However, I was browsing through my Nintendo Power magazine, and I came across a Metroid concept pic, and I just HAD to draw it. Plus, I've been using Illustrator too much lately, and wanted to create something mainly with Photoshop.

Of course, shortly after starting this peice my apartment caught fire...but it was worth it. I love how it turned out...I do kinda wish I created a background, but no matter...I enjoy it how it is.

Oh, and Metroid and its creatures are copyrighted by Nintendo...but you knew that already.
